The City's Clean Heat program will work with building owners to phase out the use of New York City's most polluting heating fuels – heating oil no. 6 and no. 4. The move away from the use of these heavy heating oils will reduce the City's air pollution. Switching to cleaner fuels will improve air quality and save lives.
