The City provides information for property owners who have received a notice to repair leaking water pipes. Property owners are responsible for the water pipes connecting their house or apartment to the water mains within the street. If the City's Department of Environmental Protection inspector finds a leak, they will serve the property owner a notice. The property owner must hire a licensed outdoor plumber to make repairs.
