Notice of Recorded Document Program

The NYC Department of Finance implemented the Notice of Recorded Document Program to help combat real estate fraud and limit its harm. Property owners may register to receive notification by email, text message or letter when a deed or mortgage (or related) document has been recorded against their property.

There are no fees to register for the program or to receive a notification sent via email or regular mail but text message rates may apply (please consult with your carrier).
