The City's "We Are New York" program helps immigrant New Yorkers practice speaking English. There are free English conversation groups held throughout the City.
You can get information about:
• attending a session to practice speaking English
• getting a DVD from the We Are New York television series or watch the series
• volunteering to lead conversation groups
• hosting a conversation group if you are a community organization .
