NYC Service Legal Outreach provides free (pro bono) legal services to clients and represents homeowners in settlement conferences or participates in courthouse screening clinics in an effort to prevent foreclosures.
You do not need expertise in real estate law as you will be trained; however you must be admitted to practice in New York State.
