The City accepts complaints about social services provided in Department for the Aging (DFTA) funded Naturally Occurring Retirement Communities (NORC). NORC programs provide older residents with on-site social services that help them successfully age in place. Services may include case assistance, case management, health care assistance, and health care management. The City funds many NORCs in private buildings and New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) developments.
