You can get help preparing your tax returns and claiming the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC). The EITC is a refund for working people who pay taxes and have an income that is below a certain level.
You have three options:
Do your own taxes online for free. To qualify, you must earn $57,000 or less
Get free one-on-one help filing your taxes at a participating site. To qualify, you must earn $50,000 or less with children or $18,000 or less without children.
Get your taxes done at H and R Block for $49 with the City coupon. To qualify, you must earn $41,000 or less with children or $18,000 or less without children.
