City Flag Status

In recognition of Memorial Day, in honor of those who died serving the nation during war, by order of the Mayor of the City of New York, Michael R. Bloomberg, on Monday, May 27, 2013, all flags shall be flown at half-staff until noon and at top of staff for the rest of the day until sunset. This includes all flags, the American flag, the New York State and City flags, and the POW-MIA flag on all City buildings as well as stationary flagstaffs throughout the five boroughs.
