The City provides information about the Corporate Emergency Access System
(CEAS) Program. CEAS, the only program recognized by the NYPD and OEM that
allows emergency access to businesses, enables employers to issue credentials to
employees they identify as essential staff members. CEAS-credentialed employees
may be permitted access to restricted areas following an emergency, allowing
them to sustain or suspend core business functions until normal entry is
restored.
