The City takes appointments for free curbside removal of devices containing CFC (chlorofluorocarbon) gas for residential addresses. An appointment must be made before discarding any appliance containing CFCs, such as: • Refrigerator/ Freezer (for safety reasons, doors, hinges, and locks must be removed)
• Air conditioner/ Dehumidifier
• Water cooler You may cancel a CFC and freon removal appointment no later than 4:00 PM the day before the appointment. If the appliance is at the curb, it must be brought back inside before the appointment date.
