The New York City Parking Card is a pre-paid card that can be used for parking at all New York City municipal parking fields, Muni-Meters, and selected electronic single-space meters located in Long Island City and Manhattan. The cards are available in $20, $50, and $100 denominations.
To use the parking card, insert it in the meter and deduct the amount needed to pay for parking. Every time the card is used, the new balance will be displayed.
Parking cards do not expire. The card can be used until the original value purchased is exhausted. Discard after use; they cannot be refilled.
The City sells parking cards online, by phone, by mail, and at retail locations. You can pay by credit card if you buy the card online or by phone. You can pay by check or money order if you buy the card by mail.
When you order a parking card, it arrives by mail or Fed Ex and may require your signature.
