Elder Abuse

The City accepts reports of elder abuse from seniors aged 60 and older and from people who suspect abuse or neglect. Types of abuse may include financial, psychological, verbal, physical or sexual abuse, or caregiver neglect by someone the victim knows. Depending on the needs of the senior, services may include assessment, information and referral, advocacy, crisis intervention and counseling.

You do not need to provide personal information, but anonymous reports may make it more difficult to assist the victim. Any contact information you provide will remain confidential.

Report elder abuse or neglect.

Call 911 if a senior is in immediate physical danger.
