Job Placement and Training Information for Seniors

The City provides information on how low to moderate income workers age 55 and older can be placed and trained in part-time employment to gain work experience. You can learn computer skills or how to provide personal care or customer service.

Senior Employment Services (SES) offers classroom training, job search techniques, and part-and full-time job placements.

The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) offers temporary part-time training opportunities in settings such as non-profit businesses or government agencies. While receiving on site training, you also learn a full range of job search techniques and get job placement assistance to help you find permanent employment.
