Job Placement and Training Information for Public Assistance Recipients

The City provides employment services to Cash Assistance recipients to improve job readiness, gain employment, and achieve worker success. Employment services are provided through the following programs:

  • Business Link: A fast, free employment service that connects qualified candidates and private-sector businesses.
  • The Back to Work Program: Job readiness training, placement services, and retention services provided by community-based workforce development agencies.
  • TEAM TAG (Training Approval Group): Assessment services for participants who express an interest in training.
  • TXT-2-Work:  Allows Cash Assistance and Food Stamp recipients to receive text messages about new job openings.
