The City regulates the way utilities, plumbers, contractors, and other governmental agencies perform street cuts, excavations, and asphalt repair of City streets.
The City accepts complaints of unsafe construction, including:
- Street construction blocking driving lanes without flagmen or signage to redirect traffic flow
- Open, unprotected street excavation missing steel plates or other barriers
- Poorly marked street excavation sites without reflection for night drivers
