Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens Property
You can get a certified copy of a property record or deed dated from 1966 to the present for $4 a page or an uncertified copy for $1 a page through the Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS). Once you find the document, click on its image, click print document, and use the Print Index screen to request a copy. Payment must be made online when you make the request. Copies will be mailed to the address you provide.
For records from 1966 to the present, you can also request a copy in person at any of the Borough City Register Offices listed below.
For records prior to 1966 for Manhattan, Queens and the Bronx, you must visit the City Register Office in the borough where the property is located. For records prior to 1966 for Brooklyn, you must have the Liber/Reel and page, date recorded, type of document, and number of pages to get copies.

Staten Island Property
You can get a certified copy of a property record or deed for $4 a page at the Office of the Richmond County Clerk. The office only accepts cash payment.
