Introducing the Worker Wallet
Beginning November 2024, NYC construction workers can carry ONE card for all these worker qualifications:- Mast Climber User/Operator
- Climber/Tower Crane Rigger
- Rigging Worker
- Rigging Supervisor
- Periodic Gas Piping Inspector
- Supported Scaffold User
- Supported Scaffold Installer & Remover
- Suspended Scaffold Supervisor
- Suspended Scaffold User
On July 1, 2025, the Worker Wallet will be the ONLY card accepted on NYC jobsites.

Buildings After Hours Schedule
DOB borough offices will be open the first and third Tuesday of the month from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Staff will be available to answer questions and provide needed information to homeowners, tenants, building managers, and small business owners.2025 NYC Energy Code Call for Advisory

Industry Meetings: DOB hosts monthly in-person industry meetings for RDPs and Class 2 Filing Reps at each borough office. The meetings provide an opportunity for industry professionals, with business before DOB to interface with borough staff with their questions and concerns.

Live Q&A Sessions: Property owners, RDPs, Licensees, Filing Reps, and other registrants can register to join our bi-weekly online Q&A Sessions to ask job-specific questions about DOB NOW and BIS filings, or general questions about permits, Codes, sign-offs, certificates of occupancy, etc.
